Interim Candidates:                                                                      You will contract to a company to execute a specific task/responsibility in a set period of time or for the period necessary to complete the project/assignment. In general payments are higher than permanent work. Nevertheless, VBSearch advises you to ensure you have funds to cover gaps in employment between contracts.

VBSearch is a registered Dutch Wage Tax Withholding Agent which is required by law to withhold tax and social security from the commencement of the contract. Contractors working through VBSearch can be employed by VBSearch on a Dutch payroll or employed through their own BV company.

Dutch Contractors preferring to work through their own BV company, some documentation is required: Copy of the Kvk and VAT certificates; VAR statement issued by the tax authorities; Statement from Accountant confirming that financial affairs are in order;

Where applicable VBSearch applies to the Dutch authorities for the special 30% ruling, which when granted provides for approx 30% of income being paid free of tax.

Contract rates
Contract /temporary rates will differ dependent upon the type of skill sets you have and what skills are in demand in the marketplace at that time. Rates of pay do fluctuate and skill shortages in certain areas can greatly inflate the rates paid to candidates in demand.
